Each episode invites viewers to explore farms, orchards, pastures, and rural communities where nature and culture coexist in perfect balance.
Through real stories told straight from the countryside, the series showcases the transformations of the productive landscape, the wisdom of the hands that sow the land, and the deep bonds that connect people to their environment. From the mountains of Pérez Zeledón to the coasts of Guanacaste, Trópico Rural Televisión reveals a diverse, resilient, and profoundly human Costa Rica.
Comprising twelve 26-minute episodes, this first season primarily combines observational documentary footage, voiceover narration, and eco-conscious music to create an immersive and educational experience. It is tailored for a broad audience: lovers of nature, sustainable living, and rural culture.
Produced by Trópico Rural S.A. with the support of Coopeguanacaste R.L., Trópico Rural Televisión celebrates rural identity and the agroecological practices that keep the tropical landscape alive. It is a window into Costa Rica’s rural territories and a tribute to those who cultivate them day by day.
